OVERVIEW
DPTL was incorporated to implement an Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) project awarded through tariff-based competitive bidding. The Letter of Intent was issued by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) to the IndiGrid in January 2024, for a 35-year period from the scheduled commercial operation date, under the Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) model. The Transmission Service Agreement (TSA) for the project was signed with the Long-Term Transmission Customers on February 9, 2024, post which the project SPV was acquired by the IndiGrid Consortium.
